Description
JRTR Iridium-192 is produced under neutron activation technology in small rounded discs form as a high radioactive source used for Non Destructive Testing as well as in Brachytherapy with a 74.2 d half-life.

Storage
Ir-192 source is to be well contained and highly shielded before insertion into the radiological projectors or after loading due to its high activity.
Packaging
The Ir-192 Assembly capsule has to be introduced directly into a well prepared projecting tool.

Any unused product or waste material should be disposed in accordance with local regulations and requirements.
