Irradiation Services
The Jordan Research and Training Reactor (JRTR), led by the Reactor Operation Department, provides high-quality irradiation services to both domestic and international clients. These services play a key role in the production of medical and industrial radioisotopes, as well as various nuclear applications, contributing significantly to advancements in health care and industry.
We analyze input data and determine the most effective irradiation location and duration for each project. Our goal is to deliver the most efficient, reliable results while optimizing capacity and minimizing costs without compromising safety or quality. Thus, we work closely with our clients to develop and execute the research and development programs.
As a testament to our credibility and capabilities, we have established partnerships with several reputable international companies, further enhancing the reach and impact of our services.
All irradiation operations are fully licensed and approved by Jordan’s Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission (EMRC), the national regulatory authority.
JRTR is a state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced systems and instrumentation that ensure precision, safety, and high performance. Safety remains our top priority. The Reactor Operations Department functions under strict procedural controls, which are regularly reviewed and updated based on operational experience and international best practices.
Our team performs continuous monitoring of the reactor and its systems, with the authority to intervene whenever necessary to maintain safe and stable operating conditions. Routine experiments are conducted, and results are cross-checked against internal and external safety calculations to ensure full operational integrity.
The Reactor Operations Department is staffed by highly qualified professionals who receive continuous training through a specialized program that draws on accumulated operational experience and international standards. This ensures that JRTR remains at the forefront of reactor operations and nuclear service delivery.
